Hank Williams III at The Handlebar – October 21 !! FRIDAY !! - A family legacy of partying and playing throughout the night, HWIII is reportedly one heck of a show. http://www.handlebar-online.com/

The Drovers old time medicine show at Barleys – October 21 – bluegrass, well sort of – I you can’t make it to Hank Williams III definitely get a slice and beer at Barley’s for this show. Check ‘em out… http://thedroversotms.com/

Southern Culture on the Skids at The Handlebar – October 29 – with album names like “too much pork for one fork”, “liquored up and lacquered down”, and great songs like Doublewide (http://www.scots.com/band/discography/sounds/SCOTSDoublewide.mp3) this is a band that leaves it mark.

Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament for the Cancer Society of Greenville at Connolly’s – October 30 noon – to raise money for local a great server who has worked at Soby’s, Restaurant O and Devereaux’s who was recently diagnosed with aggressive lung cancer. 100 players, $50 stake, all money goes to Cancer Society of Greenville. Great, fun prizes awarded that day! Stop in Connolly’s to sign up: stay and have a beer and burger.

Seven Nations with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra – November 1 – “a fusion of modern rock and foot stomping traditional music” Brought to you in conjunction with the Downtown Symphony Club – should be amazing. http://www.greenvillesymphony.org/

Soby’s 8th Anniversary Party at Soby’s – November 6 - 8 years ago Carl and crew created an institution out of a shoe store – if you are a fan of the restaurant you’ll love the party! http://www.sobys.com/

The Community Nutcracker by the Carolina Ballet at The Peace Center – November 26 – 27 – Did you know we had a professional ballet company in Greenville? This show is with the Foothills Philharmonic Orchestra. Most residents don’t – they are still working on the website but check it out. http://www.carolinaballet.com/

Trivia at Connolly’s – every Tuesday – new prizes (well, actual prizes at least), great fun, show off your knowledge.
